Century Prints, Inc.
Curtis Hopkins, the owner of Century Prints, Inc. has been involved in producing prints since the first Saturn V lift-off.  He had the first released images of the earth, taken from the moon’s surface!  Since then, he has produced many limited edition prints utilizing the full color, off-set method of printing.

Advances in ink technology and printing equipment has made it possible to produce a digital print that has a color fastness expectancy of 100+ years, and this method is now used to give you the quality and accuracy expected in today’s market. Only the best available materials are used, which includes pigment ink and acid free paper, combined with a very talented artist that produces the art work, will give you years of enjoyment.

Giclee Prints
Giclée, commonly pronounced "zhee-clay," is an invented name for the process of making fine art prints from a digital source using ink-jet printing and is used to represent any inkjet based digital print used as fine art. The name has come to mean any high quality ink-jet print.

Giclee is an individually produced, high-resolution, high-fidelity, high tech reproduction done on a special large format printer. Giclees are produced from digital scans of existing artwork. Also, since many artists now paint only digitally, there is no "original" that can be hung on a wall. Giclees solve that problem, while creating a whole new vibrant medium for art.

Giclees can be printed on any number of media, from canvas to watercolor paper to vinyl, to transparent acetates. Giclees are superior to traditional lithography in nearly every way. The colors are brighter, last longer, and the high-resolution is so high, that they are virtually 'continuous tone', rather than tiny dots. The range, or "gamut" of color for giclees is far beyond that of lithography, and details are crisper.
